What is Rivalizer?
The big picture: fixed-odds social events contracts, and how to sign in.
Welcome to Rivalizer — a crypto-native, peer-to-peer platform for social events contracts. Instead of betting against "the house," you bet directly against other people. One person issues a contract, another person takes the other side, and the winner collects.
What Rivalizer is
Rivalizer is P2P, fixed-odds bookmaking reimagined as social events contracts:
- Issue a contract — You become the issuer. You define the event, the outcomes, and the terms, then list it on your storefront for others to take.
- Take the other side — You browse contracts other people have issued and accept the side you believe in.
- Trophies as collateral — Contracts are backed by trophies (collectible assets you hold), optionally topped up with in-app cash (your USD balance). Your trophies and cash are what's at stake; the winner takes the pot.
When an event resolves, the contract settles automatically and the winning side collects the collateral.
Key terms
| Term | What it means |

| Contract (social events contract) | The agreement two people take opposite sides of |
| Trophy | A collectible asset used as collateral |
| Store / storefront | Where the contracts you issue are listed |

Creating an account
Rivalizer uses passwordless sign-in. There's no password and no seed phrase to remember.
Email magic link (primary)
- Go to Sign up (or Log in — they work the same way).
- Enter your email address.
- Click Send magic link. Rivalizer emails you a one-time sign-in link.
- Open your inbox and click the link. You'll be signed in automatically and dropped on your profile (or wherever you were headed).
A few things worth knowing:
- The magic link is single-use and expires after 30 minutes. If it expires, just request a new one.
- For security, the "Check your email" screen looks the same whether or not your email is already registered — signing up and logging in are the same flow.
- If a link says it's invalid or expired, head back to Log in and request a fresh one.
Wallet sign-in (also supported)
If you prefer, you can sign in by proving ownership of a crypto wallet using Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE):
- Connect your wallet.
- Your wallet asks you to sign a message ("Sign in to Rivalizer"). This is free — no gas, no funds moved. It just proves you control the address.
- You're signed in.
You don't have to choose one or the other forever — you can start with email and link a wallet later (see below).
Your first steps
- Sign in with your email magic link.
- Set up your profile — add a display name and a profile picture so others recognize you. (See the Identity & Profile guide.)
- Link a wallet — A wallet is required to take contracts or issue your own. From your Profile → Connect a wallet, connect and sign once to attach it to your account.
- Fund your account (optional) — Add cash to your balance from the Wallet page if you want to use cash as extra collateral.
- Explore trophies — Trophies are the collateral behind contracts. Browse and acquire them from the Trophies page.
- Issue a contract or take one — Create a store to become an issuer, or browse existing contracts and take the side you believe in.
Note: Some actions that involve real money (buying with a card, or cashing out) require a quick identity check first — see the Identity & KYC guide.
